Removing stains
Alcoholic beverages:
The stain should first be washed with cold water, then rubbed with
glycerine and water and rinse it in water with vinegar.
Shoe polish:
Scrape the stain gently, without damaging the fabric, rub in water with detergent
and rinse. If it persists, rub it in 1 unit of pure alcohol (96 %) mixed with 2 units of water and
then wash with lukewarm water.
