The Load Sharer S divides the required system output between the existing XRGI® systems in power- and heat-controlled mode. It
ensures that each XRGI® system is started individually, which reduces the need for start-up power and coordinates the running hours
of the XRGI® systems. In that way, all systems reach the number of running hours for maintenance at approximately the same time.
In power-controlled mode, the Load Sharer S passes on the information about the wanted output to the next XRGI® system that is
ready for operation and controls the extent of the wanted output. If necessary, the Load Sharer S starts up several XRGI® systems. The
Load Sharer S has a built-in sequential start to ensure that each XRGI® system starts separately. This keeps the start-up power and the
cable load at a low level.
In a sequential start, the first XRGI® system is given 10 seconds to start up. If it does not start, the Load Sharer S waits another 10
seconds before it starts up the second XRGI® system. When the second XRGI® system starts, the following system will first be released
in a minute. In this way, the first XRGI® system generates power to start up further XRGI® systems.
