Overprints are distorted
PROBLEM REMEDY
1. Overprints
are
distorted. There are
irregular ink splashes
or ink dots overlap each
other as shown in the
example on the right.
When the print head is hit by a moving object, it may get
repositioned. See the example below:
Such overprints are made when the distance between the print head
and the object is too big. Move the head to the object plane at the
distance of less than
15mm
. If this is impossible, adjust
electromagnets within the head to print over a greater distance - see
paragraph

above. Overprints made at different distances between the
front of the head and objects are shown below.
