You are not able to start the printing then. The
START PRINT
command is followed
by the error message.
Place the right bottle of ink or a transponder (if the ink system with an ink pump is
used) above the ink monitoring system. Check also for the proper connection of
IMS
interfaces (by screwing tight the female and male connectors).
3. Ink in the bottle is not fit for use any longer (the prescribed time has been
exceeded)
Terminal display:
Ink in the bottle is not fit for use any longer as the prescribed time has just expired. If
you use unsuitable ink, the head or ink system might get damaged.
If you try to select the
START PRINT
command in this condition, the error message is
displayed.
Replace the ink bottle with a new one after you have checked that the prescribed time
for the new bottle has not been exceeded - see section
2.3.5 Installing a new Bottle
of Ink (or Replacing an Empty One)
