AUXILIARY CONTACT CONNECTION

Press•o•Matic is fitte d with a spe cial c onnec tor for an
auxili ary contact so that additional functions can be
exploited by interfac ing the device with e xte rnal
equipme nt. The function of the auxiliary contact depends
on the se tting of the “Auxil iary Contac t” p arame ter
de scribe d in the paragraph on programming. The thre e
operational modes, re le van t func tions and conne ction
me thods are de sc ribe d below.
SETT ING OF “AUXILIAR Y CONTACT” P ARAMET ER = “1” – Exchange functi on in the
pr essur isation units.
Whe n the “AUXILIAR Y CON TAC T” p arame ter is set
on “1” the Pre ss•o•Matic is set to work inde pe ndently
(single system) or to dialogue with another partne r
de vic e as part of a t win pu mp pressurisation unit,
de pe nding on whether the connection cable is use d. If
the device is set to work inde pe nde ntly no c onnec tion
is required. On the other hand, if the Pre ss•o•Matic is
connec ted to anothe r unit to cre ate a pre ssurisation
group, follow the wiring diagram shown here; for
further information on the operation as p art of twin
pump pressurisation units see the “PRESSU RISATION
UNITS” se ction in the appendix.
