OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL PART 2
THE USER SHOULD KEEP THIS DOCUMENT
1. INTRODUCTION
This instruction manual is split into two booklets: PART 1, con-
taining general information regarding our whole product range;
and PART 2, containing information specific to the motor-driven
pump you have purchased. The two publications are comple-
mentary to each other, so make sure you have both.
Comply with the instructions contained in them to get the most
out of your motor-driven pump and assure its proper operation.
If you need further information, get in touch with your nearest
authorized dealer.
If information in the two parts contradict each other, take PART
2 containing the product’s specific information as valid.
NO PART OF THESE ILLUSTRATIONS AND/OR TEXT MAY BE RE-
PRODUCED FOR ANY REASON.
The following symbols have been used in the compilation of this
instruction booklet:

3.2. OPERATING CONDITIONS FOR WHICH PUMPS ARE DE-
SIGNED
These motor-driven pumps (MULTIGO - MULTIGO IN-LINE partly
built in stainless steel and all-stainless steel MATRIX) assure
long life and consistent performance if used according to the
instructions given in chap. 4.
COMPACT / CVM / MATRIX / HVM
They can be used to increase pressure in general, for domestic
water boosting (given their silent running, they can even be in-
stalled inside the home), small-scale garden watering, vehicle
washing and handling of clean water.
Being built in AISI 304 stainless steel, the MATRIX pumps can
be used even for moderately aggressive water-based solutions.
For special applications or any applications not contemplated in
table 4, contact our sales network.
MULTIGO / MULTIGO IN-LINE
Pressure boosting in domestic, community, hospital water sup-
ply systems etc., wherever silent running is called for. Handling
of liquids reliably and quietly in places subject to flooding and
wherever systems are subjected to water jets.
3.3. OPERATING CONDITIONS FOR WHICH PUMPS ARE NOT
DESIGNED
Pumps cannot be used to handle dirty water, water containing
acids or bases and corrosive liquids in general, water with tem-
peratures higher than those mentioned in chap. 4, saltwater,
flammable liquids and hazardous liquids in general. It is not suit
-
able for use in swimming pools while people are in the water.
The motor-driven pumps must never be made to work without
liquid.
