Be sure to connect the ground line (labeled

) to ground. Prior to grounding, ensure that the

wire is the proper one (labeled

Also, verify that grounding continuity has been established inside the motor by checking that

ground wire (labeled

) is electrically conductive with the bolt on the top of the motor (to be

stripped of paint to bare metal surface).
