If you are connecting the UPS to an AS/400, the QUPSDLYTIM system value for the UPS
Monitoring feature should be set. See “UPS Monitoring” on page 54 for instructions.

For the AS/400 interface, plug the AS/400 communications cable into the serial port on the
UPS rear panel. Plug the other end of the cable into the connector, located on the back of
the system unit, labeled “UPS” (AS/400 Models 2xx/4xx/170).
