QCPort Connections
Interconnects/Connections
Connecting the I/O modules together and to other
IT.
family products involves using one or more of the interconnect connectors. The
I/O product family uses two types of connectors:

The backplane interconnect
•
The short run interconnect
These interconnects provide the I/O module with power and communications.

QCPort Backplane Interconnect
The QCPort backplane interconnect is used when connecting the Adapter and I/O modules on a DIN rail. The interconnect fits inside
the channel of the DIN rail and provides for connection to power and communication to the Adapter and I/O products
(Figure 31

Figure 32)
