If you are rack-mounting the EBM cabinet, refer to the UPS rack-mount installation procedure (see
). If not, proceed to the next step.

Install the anchor brackets to the floor if applicable (see
).

Push in the EBM DC emergency disconnect switch on the rear EBM panel and turn the switch lockout key.

Route the EBM DC input/output cables to the terminal blocks as shown in (

Torque the screws holding all input and output power conductors to the values specified

Connect the EBM DC Cables to the applicable terminals by removing and reinstalling the screws onto the
terminal blocks. See

Reinstall the AC and DC terminal covers.

If additional battery cabinets are to be connected to the first, in a daisy-chain configuration, connect each
EBM with the DC cables supplied in the EBM accessory kit.
