SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
: Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions
listed below may result in electric shock, fire or serious personal injury. The warnings,
cautions, and instruction discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible
conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that
common sense and caution are a factor which cannot be built into this product, but
must be supplied by the operator.
POLARIZED PLUG
NOTE: This Carpet Cleaner has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a
polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.
SERVICING OF DOUBLE INSULATED APPLIANCES
A double insulated appliance is marked with one or more of the following: The words
“DOUBLE INSULATION” or “DOUBLE INSULATED” or the double insulation symbol
(square within a square).
In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided instead of
grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double=insulated appliance, nor
should a means for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated
appliance requires extreme care and knowledge of the system and should be done only
by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated appliance must
be identical to the parts they replace.
ELECTRIC POWER
If electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliances may not operate
properly. The appliances should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other
operating appliances.
SAFETY WARNING
Although your Carpet Cleaner is easy to operate, for your safety, the warnings below
must be followed:
1.
Do not place the Carpet Cleaner near a heat source.
2.
Do not unplug from the wall socket by pulling on the supply cord.
3.
The Carpet Cleaner must be unplugged:

If it appears to be faulty.
B.
Before cleaning or maintenance.
