Place the PHOSPHOR SCREEN on a flat surface with the PHOSPHOR side up.

Use a 1.3 mm (.050 in.) HEX WRENCH or FEELER GAUGE to check the “Flatness” of
the PHOSPHOR SCREEN at:
•
leading edge
•
trailing edge

Is the “Flatness” of the PHOSPHOR SCREEN in specification?
7
Check that the total height of the PHOSPHOR SCREEN is not more than
3.05 mm (.120 in.)

Is the total height of the PHOSPHOR SCREEN in specification?
Yes
No
Continue with
Discard the PHOSPHOR SCREEN.
Yes
No
Install the PHOSPHOR SCREEN
back into the CASSETTE.
Discard the PHOSPHOR SCREEN.
