HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT 

 

The overall height of the trimmer can be adjusted. Release the 
clamp on the tube. The tubes can then be adjusted shorter or     
longer. When the desired height is achieved, lock in place with the 
clamp. (Fig

ATTACHING THE

 

STRING TRIMMER TO MOWER DECK 



Slide the bottom of the trimmer head (A) into the front of the 
trimmer pocket (B) and slightly rotate trimmer guard down into 
the pocket until it snaps fully into place as shown in Fig. 8. If 
trimmer has a wire guide (C) and/or wheeled edge guide (D), 
wire guide should be flipped up and wheeled edge guide 
should be above the deck.

Using the string trimmer auxiliary and rear handles, lift up the 
string trimmer and ensure the mower deck is securely attached. 

 



To remove the string trimmer from the mower deck, step on the 
release lever (F) and lift the trimmer out. 

CAUTION

: Depending on setting of the string trimmer’s working 

angle and/or the battery pack used with the mower deck, the      
assembly may become unbalanced. Care should be exercised when 
using on uneven ground or slope.

Place one ribbed hole at the base of 
the auxiliary handle over the knob 
located at the lower portion of the 
rear handle.  



Press the other ribbed hole over the 
knob on the other side of the rear 
handle.(Fig.3.) 



Slide the battery pack into the 
string trimmer (see illustration).   
Ensure the battery is securely       
connected. To remove the 
battery, depress the release 
button and slide battery pack
