Install the auxiliary handle onto the shaft. Insert
the
bolt through the
base of the auxiliary handle
and
tighten
the
wing nut
.
Before
tightening
the
wing nut
,
position
the
handle
at
the
most
comfortable
position
for
the
operator
.

The overall height of the trimmer can be adjusted. Release the clamp on
the tube. The tubes can then be adjusted shorter or longer. When the
desired height is achieved, lock in place with the clamp.

ATTACHING THE GUARD ( Fig.

)
Insert
the guard as shown below by pushing it to the bottom of its
seat on trimmer head. Using a Phillips screw driver, secure the guard
by installing one (1) screw. Remove blade cover.
WARNING:
Do not operate the trimmer without the guard attached.
