that the discs are free of dust and scratches.

Clean the

free cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents as they may
have a corrosive effect.

Handling CDs
Follow these tips to get the best use from your CDs:

Keep your CDs in their original case when not in use to
prevent them from becoming scratched.
•
Always handle CDs by their outer edges to prevent
fingerprints, smudges, and other dirt to compromise the
disc.
•
Do not use dirty or scratched CDs in the

When cleaning a CD, clean both sides with a damp cloth by
wiping gently from the center spindle hole out towards the
edge. Do not use chemical solvents to clean your CDs.

Use a soft felt-tip pen to write on the printed side of a CD-R
