Connect the E-Connect by starting the SMART-Trailer application on your
smartphone. Ensure that the Bluetooth connection is on and that you are within
range of the E-Connect (maximum of 10 metres). When driving, you are advised to
place the smartphone in a carkit.
6.3 Maintenance
Clean the device only with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use any chemical or
abrasive cleaning agents.
The warranty lapses immediately if the device is opened. See Part 7: Warranty.

Before you contact our approved service partners (see
www.e-trailer.nl
) check
to see if you can resolve the problem yourself with the help of the following
information:
WARNING
Ensure that no fluids or other components can enter the
E-Connect.
REMARK
There are no modules attached to the E-Connect when you
buy the product. These have to be added manually by scanning
the appropriate QR codes. Your E-Connect and the QR codes
are one and the same after installation, so keep them in a safe
place!

A QR code scanner will appear. Use this
to add the modules you have purchased.
Scan the QR code supplied with the product.
