Error Messages shown on the LCD display

inside the e-pill Automatic Pill Dispenser
)
If any fault or malfunction should occur with your e-pill MedTime SAFE pill dispenser,
an ”
Error 2
” message should appear on the display. If you receive this message, remove
the batteries; re-program the device as necessary and perform diagnostic test (see testing
below).
Please make sure that the medication tray is inside the Automatic Pill
Dispenser before performing the diagnostic test.
Perform the diagnostic test (see testing below) by turning over the automatic pill
dispenser as soon as you hear the alarm sound / see the blinking light.
The “
CH 4”
message will appear on the display if the e-pill SAFE pill dispenser is not
turned over within 30 seconds.
Rotational Error: If the dispenser does not rotate properly, the electric motor will stop
after a few seconds and display the error message ”
CH 6
”.
If the fault cannot be corrected, contact your distributor or e-pill Medication Reminders.
Diagnostic Test for e-pill MedTime SAFE Automatic Pill
Dispenser
Remove pill dispenser from the tamperproof aluminum case before
performing the test and make sure medication tray is inside.
Your e-pill MedTime SAFE automatic pill dispenser,
has a built-in diagnostic function to test the device. To
perform the diagnostic test,
Press and Hold Button 2
for at least 10 Seconds to start the diagnostic test
. The
CH
message should appear on the display. This will
bring you into the Test Mode. Exit the test mode by
pressing button 3.
CH Test Mode - Once
CH
is shown on the display, Press Button 1 (middle button) to
perform a system function test.
The unit will automatically proceed through the following test steps:
Step 1 - Display Test
The display shows
CH 1
. All segments on the display will light up.
