3.3.3.6 WAN – DHCP (Auto config)

Set H685 WAN via DHCP (Auto config), H685 will connect the upper router via DHCP.

Step 1)

Connect RJ45 cable between Upper Router LAN RJ45 to H685 WAN RJ45 port. Once it’s
connected, the H685 Web

Ethernet Port Status

will display.

Notes: you may not see the WAN RJ45 connection status. But it will flash to fresh the status every
30 seconds. Or you can manually flash to fresh.

Step 2)

H685 web – Operation Mode, choose “Gateway” mode

Step 3)

H685 web – Internet Settings – WAN – WAN Connection Type, choose “DHCP (Auto config)”
