b. Do not use any power tool with a defective switch. An electrical tool that can
no longer be switched on and off is dangerous and must be repaired.
c. Unplug the device from the power outlet and/or remove the battery before
making device settings, changing accessories, or putting the device away. This
precautionary measure prevents the device from starting up unintentionally.
d. When not in use, store power tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow
persons to use the device who are unfamiliar with the device or who have not
read these instructions. Power tools are dangerous when used by inexperienced
persons.
e. Take good care of the device. Ensure that moving parts of the device function
properly and do not seize, if parts are broken or are damaged, then device
function is impaired. Have the damaged parts repaired before using the tool.
Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Carefully maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges seize less and are easier to control.
g. Use power tools, accessories, insertion tools etc. according to these instructions,
and in the manner prescribed for this particular device type. Give due
consideration to work conditions and the task that will be executed. Using power
tools for applications other than their intended use can lead to dangerous situations.
h. Hold the appliance by the insulated grip surfaces when performing work in
which the insertion tool can hit concealed power supply lines or its own power
cable. Contact with live lines can also charge metallic tool parts and lead to an electric
shock.
5. Service

carry out repairs using original replacement parts. This ensures that the safety of
the device remains unimpaired.
b. For electrical devices with attachment type Y: If it becomes necessary to replace the
power cord, then the cord must be replaced by the manufacturer or his authorized
representative in order to avoid safety hazards.
c. Regular cleaning, maintenance, and lubrication contribute to longer service life of the
power tool.
