4. Using the screws provided, fit the metal bracket to the wall.
5. Fit the wall-mounted holder onto the metal bracket. Make sure the ridges on the metal
bracket fit into the slots on the holder, then carefully pull the holder downwards. The fixing
hole in the centre of the holder should line up with the threaded hole on the metal bracket.
6. Screw the wall-mounted holder to the metal bracket.
Using the appliance
Turn on the hair dryer by using the mains switch. Moving the switch downwards to ‚low’ will
cause the appliance to operate at a lower speed. Moving the switch upwards to ‚high’ will cause
the appliance to operate at a higher temperature with air being blown more quickly.
When switching off the appliance, run it at ‚low’ for a few seconds before moving the switch to
the centre ‚off’ position. Finally, replace the hair dryer onto the wall-mounted holder.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Warning! Before you clean the appliance it must be switched off and the
mains plug must be removed from the wall socket.
Important! Never dip the equipment in water or hold it under running water
while cleaning it.
• To remove hair that’s been sucked into the appliance, turn the air filter anti-clockwise and
then lift it off. (The air filter is on the air intake at the back of the dryer). Use a vacuum
cleaner or brush to remove any hair that’s accumulated around the air intake openings.
When all hair has been removed, replace the air filter on the dryer and lock it in place by
turning it clockwise.
• To clean the handle, wipe it with a soft cloth that’s been moistened with a few drops of mild
detergent. Next, remove the detergent by wiping with a soft lint-free cloth moistened with
lukewarm water. Finally, wipe the cleaned surfaces with a dry lint-free cloth. Take care to
ensure no moisture enters the appliance. Make sure the hair straighteners are completely
dry before using them again.
• When cleaning the appliance, never use solvent (acetone, benzole, petrol, alcohol, etc.) as
these may solve the casing material, or the internal parts of the appliance if they get into.
Do not use cleaning agents with coarse or grinding effect.
• Never remove the cover of the appliance.
• Regularly use a vacuum cleaner or brush to remove any hair that’s accumulated around the
air intake openings.
• After cleaning, store the appliance in a dry and dust-free place if you won’t be using it for
a while.
