Do not put and store the appliance on direct sunlight, that may couse faded color in the
casing, and the operation could be affected as well.
•
Don’t use the appliance in the presence of explosive or inflammable gases, vapours or
liquids.
•
The use of the appliance must be avoided in areas where the temperature is too high or too
low or where the appliance is subject to vibrations. Avoid using the appliance under wet or
vaporous conditions. The appliance can be used within the temperature range of +10°C to
+35°C and stored within the range of +5°C to +40°C.
•
Take care not to let any aerosol spray inside the appliance.
•
The air blower grille of the hair dryer could heat-up during use, therefore avoid contact with
the scalp.
•
Take care to avoid the power cable of the appliance from getting in way of the hair dryer’s
air blow holes.
•
If you dry your hair while using curlers, do not allow any hairpins, etc. to stick out more
then 10 mm (finger width) to avoid any contact with the electric part of the dryer through
the air holes.

Do not cover the air inlets or outlets when using the appliance. A built-in safety cut-out
will automatically switch the hair dryer off if these openings are accidentally covered. The
appliance will start working again when it has cooled down for a few minutes.

The air grille in front of the inlet air suction hole of the appliance is made to prevent hair
from being sucked in or entangled with it. Keep the hair far from the air suction hole during
use. If the openings of the grille have become clogged with lint for some reason, you have
to clean them (e.g. with a Hoover or brush) otherwise overheating could occur and the
thermal release will turn the appliance off.

You must not disassemble the appliance, remove its cover or to try to repair it. Ignoring
this advice could cause a serious accident. There are no parts in the appliance that can
be repaired at home or used for any other purpose. Never operate the appliance with a
damaged mains cable or connector. Do not use the appliance if it fails to work normally or
if it has been dropped or damaged. If the appliance becomes faulty for any reason or if any
moisture is allowed inside, take it to an authorised service engineer for checking and repair.
Only service engineers who have been trained and approved should repair the appliance.

circumstances resulting from not following the instructions.

Dust covered air suction grille at the rear, front grille or blower, clogging with dust or
hair, failure of cleaning may cause:
– premature wear and tear of revolving, moving parts,
– electric overload, overheating,
– operation of the in built thermal release during use due to overheating
caused by insufficient ventilation,
– increased noise emission.
Attention! In the absence of cleaning the lint coming into contact with the heating
filament could catch fire, this could couse an accident and fire hazard.
The effects of direct sunlight on the appliance can include:
– accelerated deterioration of the appliance casing and its plastic and rubber
components, damage to strength and other structural features. The
appliance’s surface may become porous and fragile, which may result in a
safety risk.
Continuous heavy duty use may cause:
– premature structural wear and tear of the electro-motor due to the
