Ending the Auto Accompaniment
There are three methods to end the accompaniment.
q
End immediately
Press START/STOP to immediately stop an ongoing accompaniment.
w
End with a closing pattern
Press INTRO/END while an accompaniment is ongoing. A closing passage of maximum 12 measures
will be played before the accompaniment terminates.
☞
While the closing pattern is being played, pressing the FILL buttons will abort the closing and instead play the FILL
transitions, followed by the regular rhythm patterns.
e
Fade out
The accompaniment may gradually fade out until its volume reaches zero.
Press FADE while an accompaniment is going. The button will turn on, and the accompaniment will
fade away until its volume reaches zero, upon which the FADE button will turn off.
☞
Press FADE again if you wish to abort the fading out.
Adjusting the Split Point
Split Point also determines the area of keyboard that is used for indicating chords when using the
auto accompaniment in the Single Finger or Fingered mode. In these modes, chords should be
indicated using the keys on the left part, otherwise they would not be recognized.
Press and hold down SPLIT until the Split menu is called up, then set the Split Point using the DATA
buttons and DATA wheel.
☞
Default: F#3
☞
Refer to page 18 for details on the Split menu.
