13.- TROUBLESOOTING:
Problem Possible solution
The transceiver does not turn ON.
>> The battery is exhausted. Recharge or replace
the battery pack.
Without voice prompt. >> Make sure if turn off the voice prompt.
During the communication, the
sound is heard interrupted.
>> Check the setting of wide/narrow band in all
transceiver of your user´s group.
>> Confirm whether it is close to the limit of the
communication range.
>> Check whether the squelch level is set too high.
Communication distance becomes
short.
>> Check that the antenna is installed correctly.
>> Check whether the squelch level is set too high.
>> Check whether the low transmission power is
selected.
The transceiver cannot program by
computer.
>> Confirm whether the programming cable is
correctly plugged between the [MIC/SP] jack of the
transceiver and the computer.
>> Confirm that the computer port selected is
correct.
Once these checks have been performed, if you still have problems with the
transceiver, consult your Authorized Technical Service.
