Problem
Possible Causes
No Picture, No Sound
Check to see that the AC adapter or car adapter is properly
connected. Do not use an unauthorized power supply pack.
Check to see if the TV set is on standby status.
No image
Depending on location, it may be necessary to rescan for
available TV channels in that area. Check antenna. If using
telescopic antenna, change to external antenna.
No sound
Check the volume setting and verify that the earphones are
plugged in properly. Check the audio system settings in AV
mode.
Dark picture
Adjust the brightness and / or contrast settings. Low
temperatures can affect the screen.
Unclear or unstable image
Weak TV signal – adjust antenna orientation or move to
another location inside or outside the building.
Snow or hazy image
Interference due to the operation of electric motors nearby,
passing trains, high voltage lines or neon lights.
Upside down or inverted picture
Improperly adjusted horizontal or vertical screen tracking con-
trol. Check settings under ‘rotating images’.
Signal search failure
Check Country and region settings
Pixelated image intermittent weak signal.
Check antenna.
No Signal Message
Receiver cannot detect a signal for that channel.
Check antenna.
No Information message.
Weak Signal and station program information is not being
decoded or there is no program info to display.
12. TROUBLESHOOTING
