Steps
1.
The
problem
s
are
usually
grinding
noises
due
to rubbing between two parts. The cause is
norm
ally
m
isalignm
ent or swing of the Drive
Pulley, as
shown
in
figures
1&2.
2.
If it is m
isalignm
ent of the Drive Pulley
which
causes
grinding
noises,
then
take
apart
both
Chain
Covers
referring
to
procedure
6.
3. If noises are caused by the swing Drive
Pulley, then take apart both Chain Covers and
Round
Disk
and
use
Phillips
head
screwdriver to
release
5x16
m
/m
tapping
screws with 1/4"x19 m
/m
flat washers, which
are on the Round Disk. Check
the
Round
Disk and Cross Bar on the level for warp,
which is norm
ally caused by exotic force.
The standard for warp is that the swing
within
the
range
of
+/- 3
m
m
.
Thewarp can
som
etim
es
be
corrected
by force.
