3. Preparing Cables
To connect XV1000 to the network, the following cables are required for each port.

RJ-11 Telephone Cable
One end of the RJ-11 telephone cable is connected to the telephone line port at the rear panel of the
XV1000 and the other end is connected to the telephone.
RJ-45 UTP Ethernet Cable
One end of RJ-45 UTP Ethernet cable is connected to the Ethernet port (10/100Base-T) at the rear panel
of XV1000 and the other end is connected to the LAN card of the PC.
