CAUTION: Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator before attempting to
start!
WARNING: Operating the starter motor for more than 5 seconds can damage the
motor. If the engine fails to start, release the switch and wait 10 seconds before
operating the starter again.

Pull recoil start
Pull the recoil start handle quickly the complete length of the
rope and then let it retract slowly. The unit will generally start
within 3 pulls. CAUTION: DO NOT let go of the handle while
the rope is extended this may cause damage to yourself or your
machine.

Open choke
Push the choke to the OPEN position as the engine warms up.
