5-5.  Touch panel problems (for FDU2101T only)

Attention

Problem

Possible cause and remedy

1.  Cursor position is not correct. / Cursor 

jumps.

• Turnoffandonthemonitor.Ifthesymptomisnot

improved,performthecalibrationonthemonitor.

• Touchwithonefingeronly.
• ConnectthemonitortothePCwiththecableindicatedin

theSetupManualorUser’sManualofthemonitor.Using
aconversionadapter,thetouchpanelmaynotoperate
properly.

2.  Touch operation is not effective.

• Checkwhether“UseEEPROM”inthe“Device”menuis

notcheckedinthe“Properties”settingsofthetouchpanel
driver.Ifthecheckisalreadyapplied,releasethecheck
beforeperformingthecalibration.

• Otherloginusermayhavechangedthesetting.Setthe

touchpaneldriveragain.

3.  Some deflection may appear on the 

surface of touch panel portion.

• Duetothetouchpanelstructuralcharacteristics,the

deflectionmayoccuronthetouchpanelsurfaceinhigh
temperature/highhumidityoperatingenvironment.Thisis
notatrouble.

4.  No touch sound.

• Thetouchsoundmaynotbeoutputfromtheexternalline

outofthePCdependingonthehardwareconfiguration.

• UnderWindows7,touchsoundisonlyoutputthroughthe

audiooutputterminalofthePC.Toheartouchsound,
connectspeakers.
