If the same error message still appears in the display after completely removing all 
obstructions, please contact your nearest dealer. 

 

Memory Er ror 
 

 

 

Some error has occurred in the internal memory. 

- 

Initialize the memory. 

- 

Open the door, then close it. 
The error message disappears. 
 
See step 1 on page 17, and “door open” on page 16. 

- 

Execute steps is “adjusting paper alignment” on page 13. 

 
 

Troubleshooting and Maintenance 
 

The feed rollers and paper separators which function as paper feeders may become 
smudged with ink and paper shreds with use.  If paper jams or miss feeding occurs 
frequently, clean all the feed rollers and paper separators (see next page). 
 
If the paper jams or miss feeding continues to occur even after cleaning, try the following 
step in order:

Replace worn out paper separators (see page 23), then 

- 

If replacement of paper separators does not solve the problems, replace worn-out feed 
rollers (see page 24). 

 

If problems persist, please contact your nearest dealer
