Number (1 to 8) bin Empty / Miss Feed
The named (feed) bin doesn’t have any paper or has miss fed.
-
If this has occurred to more than one bin, the display shows all the empty or miss feed
bins.
-
Check the named bin and supply of paper in the bin
a.
If the checked bin still has paper, miss feeding is the reason for the message.
In such a case, remove all the sheets of paper, then fan, align, and reload them
on the tray before restarting the operation
b. Notes – If in the non-staple (offset) mode, remove all the sets on the paper
receiver tray before you restart operation. This is because the last collated set
before the error has occurred may not be offset to the initial set after
restarting.
Number (1 to 8) bin jam / Staple Jam / Outlet Jam
A sheet of paper is stuck in the named (feed) bin. Or a set of paper is stuck in the stapler or
discharging outlet (paper ejecting) area.
If the unit has more than one jammed area, a combined message will be scrolled in the display.
-
Remove the jammed paper
