Sowing Depth Control
The sowing depth is dependent on:
1 The wheel height in relation to the chassis
2 Tyre pressure
3 Ground condition i.e. hard or soft
The wheel height in relation to the chassis is controlled using
hydraulic ram depth stop collars. With the machine raised up,
add or remove depth collars as required.
Transport Position
It is recommended to raise the drill into the transport
position when turning at headlands to avoid damage to the
ground engaging components.
