DUKE Model 957R Soft Serve Freezer
5.2 Pump Switch 2
Although this dial thermometer is not
measuring actual product temperature, it
should be observed for its normal oper-
ating reading. It should read 5° to 15°F
This control will bypass the thermostat,
forcing the compressor and beater motor
to run for approximately 3 minutes. Use
the timer for quick start-ups or fast
recovery when dispensing large por-
tions.
This two-position switch controls the operation of the mix pump located in the walk-in
cooler. Pump must be plugged into the receptacle located on the back panel of the
freezer.
A.
“ON”
(Left Position) - Use this
position to fill the cylinder with mix
or sanitizer when the freezer is in
the normal operating mode and/or
when removing product from the
cylinder.
B.
“OFF”
(Right Position) - In this
position the pump will not operate.
(-15° to -9°C) when product is being
dispensed at 18°F (-8°C).
5.3 Reset - Overload 3
5.4 Timer 4
5.5 Thermometer 5
IMPORTANT:
Excessive use of the timer causes
freeze-up and damage to the freezer.
Operator Controls (continued)
This control protects the beater motor
against failure from an overload condition
by automatically shutting down the
freezer. To restart properly, turn the
selector switch to the "OFF" position,
wait 2-3 minutes, then depress the red
reset button and turn the selector switch
back to the "AUTO" or "CLEAN" position.
Repeat as needed until beater motor
restarts.
IMPORTANT:
If the overload trips frequently, your
freezer should be checked for proper
product temperature, overrun, and
voltage. Contact H. C. Duke & Son,
Inc. or your authorized service center.
