Rear brake pedal
(fig. 30)
Push down on the pedal (1) to apply the rear brake.
The brake is hydraulically controlled and operation requires
minimum effort.
Gear change pedal
(fig. 31)
When released, the gear change pedal automatically returns
to rest position N in the centre; this is indicated by the
instrument panel light N (8, fig. 4) coming on.
The pedal can be moved:
down = press down the pedal to engage the 1
st
gear and to
shift down. The N light will go out.
up = lift the pedal to engage the 2
nd
gear and then the 3
rd
,
4
th
, 5
th
and 6
th
gear.
Each time you move the pedal you will engage the next gear.
