Removing the original components
Removing the passenger seat
Notes
Since the procedure for removing the seat cover (single-seater
version) or the passenger seat (twin-seater version) is the same,
we use here only the procedure for twin-seater versions by way of
example.
Note
The kit disassembly procedure is the same for all Superbike 959
and Superbike 1299 motorcycles. The procedure for the Superbike
1299 will be described here as a general example.
Insert the key into the seat lock (A) and turn it until the passenger
seat catch (B) disengages with an audible click.
Slide out the passenger seat (B) towards motorcycle front end until
removing it.

Smontaggio sella passeggero
Note
La procedura di smontaggio del coperchio sella (versione
monoposto) o della sella passeggero (versione biposto) è la
medesima, per cui viene utilizzato come esempio la procedura da
adottare sui modelli biposto.
Note
La procedura di smontaggio del kit è la stessa per tutti i
motoveicoli Superbike 959 e Superbike 1299 , per cui viene
utilizzata, come esempio, la procedura da adottare sul modello
Superbike 1299.
Inserire la chiave nella serratura (A) e ruotarla fino a sentire lo
scatto di sgancio della sella passeggero (B).
Sfilare la sella passeggero (B) verso la parte anteriore del motociclo
fino a liberarla.
