6. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
6.1. SUMMARY OF ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
BRaKes aND WeaR OF THe BRaKe PaDs: after the initial 10,000 km.
BeaRINgs OF THe FRONT WHeels: after the initial 10,000 km.
TYRe PRessURe and WeaR: after every 4,000 km or 6 months.
6.2. BRAKE OIL
Brake oil should be checked
every 30 days
as follows:
•
visual inspection
of the tank indicator with the vehicle parked on level ground. The oil
level should be at
3 mm
above the indicator’s lower limit.
• The oil tank is located under the vehicle’s front shield. Undo the cap on the tank and
top up the level as and when necessary.
Use DOT 4 hydraulic brake oil.
ATTENTION!
Hydraulic oil is corrosive and could cause damage and lesions.
Do not mix different types of oil.
Make sure the seals are perfectly intact.
Replace the oil after every 10,000 km.
The oil must be replaced if it contains any dross, detritus or water, regardless of distance
covered.
NOTE: This should be carried out by an authorized Assistance Centre to ensure the
vehicle’s good working order and durability.
