3. If the output audio format is not supported by the sink device (HDTV, Home Theater receiver, 

Sound Bar Speaker), you may hear noise from the speakers or you will not hear any sound from 
the speakers. 

4. If you want to use a Home Theater System or other speaker system for audio output, it is 

recommended to mute the audio speaker of the HDTV. 

5. It is recommended all connected sink devices (HDTV, Projector, Home Theater Receiver

etc.) 

and sources device (Blu-ray Player, game consoles ,PS4 Pro

etc.) support same highest 

resolution, color deep and audio format.   

6. If you want to use a Soundbar other speaker system for audio output, it is recommended to mute 

the audio speaker of the HDTV. 

 

CONNECTION & OPERATION 

 

Connection

 

Step 1. 

Connect the DC 5V power adaptor to the HDMI Matrix Switch. 

Step 2. 

Connect the HDMI cables from the HD sources (PS4 Pro, DVD player, Blue Ray DVD 

Player…etc) to the input ports of the HDMI Matrix Switch. 

Step 3.

 Connect the HDMI cables from your HD display (HDTV or projector) to the output port 

(Port A or Port B) of the HDMI Matrix Switch. 

If your Home Theater (or Sound System) does support HDMI input, you can use a HDMI 

cable to connect the digital audio to your Home Theater (or Sound System). 
Connect the HDMI cables from your HD display (HDTV or projector) to the output port   

Step 4.

 After you finish the connection, the Active-A (or Active-B) indication LED, and input 

indication LED will be lighted on. 

 

Operation 

Matrix Mode: 
Individual Selection for each output port 

 

 

Splitter Mode: 
Sharing same HD source to both outputs 

 

 

ARC Connection 

UHD-402 is also with audio return channel (ARC) support. As some sound bars only equipped with 
HDMI IN, they don’t have HDMI out to connect to TV directly.
