5. Connecting the power supply
The card comes with a dedicated 24V DC power supply, which should be used to power the
FLEX receiver and the F-GSM card. The power supply can be mounted in a place convenient
for the installer, away from the receiver and the card. Provide a housing with an appropriate
tightness or place the power supply in a housing of another device. To facilitate assembly,
the card includes two terminal strips to make the connection between the power supply,
electrical installation and the receiver.
The card power cable should be connected in parallel with the power supply cables to the
FLEX receiver power connector (Fig. 5).

DEDICATED
POWER SUPPLY
When using a power source other than the power supply attached to the F-GSM card,
adequate voltage stability and current efficiency must be ensured. For the correct and stable
operation of the F-GSM card, you need a power supply with the following parameters:
ź
voltage 12V ... 24V DC (+ -10%)
ź
current efficiency min. 400mA
6. Installation of the F-GSM card in the FLEX receiver
The card should be installed according to the following steps:
ź
plug the card's power cable into the power socket on the F-GSM card
ź
plug the end of the antenna cable into the U.FL antenna socket on the card, paying
attention to the correct laying of the antenna cable (Fig. 6)
ź
install the F-GSM card in the 36-pin socket of the FLEX receiver (fig. 7)
