●
For the supply of external air, you must install a heat-
resistant (alum.) flexible tube (diam. between 80 and 150
mm) in a cement covering floor, as indicated in the figure
below
●
The flexible tube should not protrude from the floor, there
should be an even cement floor with a hole in it.
●
Mount the adjustable ring with the sealing cord downwards
on the bolt under the fire’s air slide. With the included
square socket wrench, the ring can be turned upwards from
the fireplace.
●
Turn the adjustable ring as high as possible.
●
Slide the fire into the chimney breast opening, make sure
the adjustable ring ends up above the hole in the floor.
●
Set the fire at the right height using the adjustable legs and
connect it to the flue duct.
●
Use the square socket wrench to turn the adjustable ring
downward until the sealing cord is pressed down and an
air-tight connection is created.

●
Determine the location of the fire (4);
●
slide the build-in frame (1) on the required position and
tighten the four nuts plus washers (2+3);
●
place the fire in front of a fire resistant wall; in case of a
combustible wall, build a 10cm thick fire resistant wall;
●
level the fire at the required height and fasten it with metal
anchors;
●
connect the flue duct to the ring of the fire;
●
always connect convection openings using heat-resistant
tube and grates;
●
make sure there is sufficient space under the fire for the
supply of combustion air. If the ring of the external air
connection is not used, a free distance of at least 20 mm
should be maintained for sufficient combustion air.
●
if applicable, connect the external air connection;
●
the fire is not suitable for carrying a flue duct, it should be
self-supporting;
●
line the fire with 6 cm of heat resistant insulation material;
●
the chimney breast may consist of class A1 non-combustible
materials (must be resistant to a temperature of at least 700
degrees Celsius );
●
stone-like materials should not rest on the fire, use ceramic
felt for this;
●
make sure the opening in the chimney breast has 6 mm
more space than the build-in frame;
●
take into account that the fire will expand, i.e. no plastering
directly on the fire;
●
on the outside, the chimney breast may not become hotter
than 90 degrees Celsius;
●
if there is a combustible ceiling, apply a fire resistant plate in
the chimney breast, 30 cm under the ceiling. On this, place
a 10 cm thick heat insulating layer;
●
check whether the holes for secondary aeration in the rear
plate are directly in front of the openings in the vermiculite
plate;
