Mats
-
The Mats is provided with a lockable outside air connection
of 80 mm.
-
The Ecolight is supplied with a 6v adapter
●
Jens L/H
-
The Jens is designed with a lockable 80 mm outside air
connection;
-
The flue gas discharge ring must be rotated for a 130 or
150 mm diameter.
●
Jens L/H operation of the door latch
-
Upon delivery and during maintenance check door play and
operation of the door latch.
-
If it is stiff the following actions can be taken;
-
smear a small amount of heat-resistant grease on the inside
of the closing plate (Fig 1, A);
-
the door must sit evenly against the frame and must not be
too “tight” on the closing side;
-
if necessary the door can be set by shifting the closing plate
slightly by loosening the two crosshead metal screws (Fig 2,
C) and the self-locking nuts (Fig 1, B);
-
to reach the metal screws ( Fig 3, C) first the vermiculite
base (Fig 3, 1) and then the left side wall (Fig 3, 2) must be
removed;
-
loosen the locking nuts (Fig 1, B) by one turn so that the
closing plate can be shifted slightly. Shift the closing plate
by one mm, ensuring that the front of the closing plate
remains parallel with the front. Check this, for example using
a caliper;
-
Re-tighten the locking nuts and the metal screws securely;
-
Check that the seal closes properly by trapping a sheet of
paper between the stove and the seal when the stove door
is closed. It must not be possible for the sheet of paper to
be easily removed. Re-adjust the door if necessary;
-
Replace the vermiculite interior fittings in reverse order.

Vidar Wall
IMPORTANT: THIS SUSPENDED FIRE CAN ONLY
BE MOUNTED TO A NON-COMBUSTIBLE WALL ALL
COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS MUST BE KEPT AT A MINIMUM
DISTANCE OF 700 MM.
it is important that the centre of the flue gas
discharge (niche pipe or connecting piece
suitable for 150 mm SS pipe) in the ceiling is
located 190 mm from the wall (see fig. 1).
If the distance is less or more, bends will have
to be used.
Attaching the wall plate
-
Recommended height is 930 mm (450 mm below fire).
However, the minimum height of the wall plate should be
780 mm (300 mm below fire), see fig. 2.
-
Drill the holes and attach the wall plate using the supplied
expanding shells and bolts (make sure everything is
mounted level and that the wall plate is centred below the
flue gas discharge).
Placing the fire
-
Prior to placing the fire, remove the front door and burning
plate in order to avoid damages and to allow an easier
installation.
-
Suspend the fire over the wall plate’s lip and adjust the fire
with the feet at the back side so it is suspending vertically.
-
Place the flue pipe and possible ceiling plate.
Installing a protective plate for the plaster work
-
In case of plaster work or light colours of paint on the
wall, we recommend installing the supplied plaster work
protective plate. Without this plate, the plaster work or paint
can be damaged due to high temperatures.
-
Place the protective plate on the fire and press it against the
flue gas channel. Drill 4 small holes (4 mm) and fix the plate
using the supplied screws (see fig.3)
