10.3 Rotary plate post curing

Move the flip switch upwards to 

rotation. Open flap to curing area. If 

present, remove the insert and the 

displacer. Push the rotary plate in care-

fully. Put parts for post curing into posi-

tion and close opening flap. The mag-

netic locking is audible. Set post curing 

time. A quick press of the multifunction 

button starts the post curing program 

and the set post curing time flashes. 

Set the gas flow to approx. 50 l/min 

with the help of the setting screw. The 

value is shown on the blue flow display. 

A program for pre-gassing and filling 

the lighting chamber and protecting 

the lights will run for four minutes. After 

this the actual lighting period starts. 

The display expires. After three minutes 

the gas valve closes automatically and 

the blue flow display goes out so that 

the PCU 90 is operated with protective 

gas for seven minutes.

Normally an oxygen content is achieved 

in the chamber which is needed for 

inhibition free post curing. Once the 

program has finished a short bleep will 

be audible and the display will return 

to the previously set value. The com-

ponents can then be removed.

10.4 Display and resetting of the operating hours

In order to guarantee better control of 

the output and service life of the bulbs, 

the PCU is equipped with an operating 

hours counter. If the multifunction but-

ton is pressed and the machine‘s main 

switch is activated, the operating hours 

will be shown. After that keep the but-

ton pressed down in order to return to 

the lighting menu.

The operating hours counter can only 

be reset by an authorized service tech-

nician. 

10.2 Post curing at the lower level

nents can then be removed.

level. Please remove the glass insert 

and the displacer as well, modify the 

gas flow to the greater volume and set 

to at least 50 l/m.

Push the glass insert in at the lower 

level, cover with parts for post curing 

and then continue as described in 10.1.

11 Bulb change

A bulb change should only be carried 

out by an authorized service technician.

The instructions for changing bulbs are 

with the exchange lights.

12 Care and maintenance

The braked flap holders must regularly be checked for 

damage and wear. When adjusting the braking force, 

make sure that the adjusting screws of both flap holders 

are evenly adjusted.

13 General notes

Repair and maintenance work on the 

PCU 90 may only be undertaken by 

specialized personnel. The power feed 

to the unit must be disconnected in 

each case. Innovation MediTech GmbH 

will only be responsible for the safety, 

reliability and performance of the unit if

  the unit is only used for the appropri-

ate purpose.

  it is only operated by specially trained 

staff.

  the unit is used in accordance with 

these operating instructions.

  modifications, new settings, changes 

or repairs are only carried out by per-

sonnel that have authorized it.
