10.1 Fabrication of cast form parts
11. Care and maintenance
Generally disconnect the unit from
mains supply before executing care
and maintenance.
Ideally cleaning is to be effected dryly
with a soft piece of cloth, if necessary
with a slightly humid sponge and a
mild cleaning liquid. Water and clean-
ing liquids must not get into the unit.
The O-rings should be greased regu-
larly with silicone grease.
With the K-7 insert it is possible to
thermoform up to 7 resin bases for
the crown and bridge technique at the
same time. Fix the single dies by means
of a flexible blocking out material (e.
g. Fillin) in the holes of the K-7 insert.
Remove the nub plate from the insert
bowl and replace it by the K-7 insert.
All further working steps as described
from point 7.1 on.
12. Exchange of fuses
Disconnect the unit from mains sup-
ply. The fuse carrier is situated at the
rear of the unit, integrated in the mains
supply.
In order to control or exchange the
fuses push the push catch of the car-
rier, keep it pressed and remove the
carrier from the unit.
Pull the defective fuse out of the clamp
carrier applying slight traction and
replace it by a new, equivalent one.
Important: Only use the fuse
strength indicated on the rear.
After exchanging the fuse insert the
fuse carrier into the housing applying
slight pressure until the fixation latches
noticeably.
13. General advice
Repairs on the Drufosmart scan units
may only be executed by experts. Dis-
connect the unit from mains supply
at any rate. Dreve company is only
responsible for the safety, reliability
and performance of the unit, if:
· the unit is exclusively used for the cor-
responding field of application.
· operation is only carried out by
accordingly trained personnel.
· the unit is operated in accordance
with these working instructions.
· extensions, new adjustments, changes
or repairs are executed by persons
authorised by the company.
As we are currently developing our
products, we reserve the right for tech-
nical changes.
