Drufosmart scan
4. Safety advice
1.
This unit must only be used accord-
ing to the present working instructions.
We cannot be held liable for damages
which have been caused by improper
treatment resp. faulty manners of
operation.
2.
Put the unit on a stable and even
basis which is suitable for the opera-
tion weight of approx. 15 kg of the unit.
3.
In order to avoid the intrusion of
water into the unit (e. g. splash water)
the unit is to be placed into a dry sur-
rounding.
4.
Do not store any flammable sub-
stances in the close surrounding of
the unit.
5.
The indicated voltage on the type
plate has to meet the voltage of the
power source.
6.
The unit must only be connected
with a socket with protective conduc-
tor. Never touch the plug with wet
hands.
7.
Authorised operators: The operating
company of the machine has to hold
the working instructions at the oper-
ators’ disposal and has to make sure
that authorised operators have read

vice. The operating service and the function of the unit can only be guaranteed for, if
the general safety and accident prevention instructions of the legislation as well as
the safety instructions of the working instructions are observed.

8.
The unit has to be examined before
operation in view of proper condition
and operating safety. If the unit is not
in proper condition, it must not be used
and has to be marked accordingly.
9.
The pressure of the compressed air
line must not exceed 10 bars.
10.
Do not intrude any objects into
the unit.
11.
Do not lock-up the operation ele-
ments of the unit.
12.
Do not block the downwards-mov-
ing piston.
13.
Do not touch the downwards-mov-
ing piston.
14.
The swivelling housing of the radi-
ator reaches high temperatures and
must therefore not be touched – not
even for short moments.
15.
If the unit is not used, please dis-
connect the mains.
16.
Plates and labels have to be main-
tained in a well legible condition and
must not be removed.
17.
Before cleaning and maintenance
of the unit or the exchange of parts the
plug has to be disconnected.
18.
The opening of the unit and repairs
are only to be carried out by accord-
ingly trained experts.
19.
Only those appliances and spare
parts may be used which are released
by the manufacturer. We are not
responsible for damages caused by
the use of foreign parts.
20.
Arbitrary rebuilding or modifica-
tions are not permitted due to safety
reasons.
21.
The required operation and main-
tenance conditions mentioned in these
working instructions are to be complied
with imperatively. When working with
the Drufosmart scan the general acci-
dent prevention regulations have to
be observed.
Before initiation make sure that the
voltage indicated on the type plate
meets the voltage of the power source.
Connect the unit to an air compressor.
Push the pressure hose (included in the
delivery) into the compressed air con-
nection (9) until it is locked in place.
The hose does not need any further fas-
tening. To release the pressure hose
push the blue ring upwards and draw
the hose off by pulling downwards.
The pressure of the compressed air
line must not exceed 10 bars.
Put the power cord into the female
connector (33) and create a connec-
tion with the Euro/USA plug.

necessary.
