ASSEMBLY & USE
EN
CLEANING
Before using, wash in hot soapy water & rinse well – if possible, wash in dishwasher for best results.
Wash bottle and parts immediately after every use. Avoid overly aggressive cleaning of any parts to
prevent damage to sealing surfaces. Do not boil or microwave to sterilize parts. All parts are dishwash-
er safe, top rack only.
Before each use: Inspect the sippy straw carefully, especially when the child develops teeth, and replace the
straw immediately if it shows any signs of wear or damage, such as cracking or change of shape. Small pieces
can accidentally be inhaled and cause serious injury. The straw must be clean and free of obstructions.
Dr. Brown’s Milestones
™
soft silicone sippy straw and sippy straw bottle are designed to help your child
transition from bottle to cup. The sippy straw and flip-top cap can also be used in place of the nipple/teat
on Dr. Brown’s®
™
Bottles when the internal vent system has been removed. Sippy Straws will
only work with the Flip-Top Cap. They will not work properly with the vent system installed, or in
non-Dr. Browns®
™
Bottles.
If your sippy straw bottle has Dr. Brown’s™ Silicone Handles, place bottle on a firm surface, place handles
over neck of bottle and push down into place on bottle. When removing handles from bottle, soapy
water may help handles slide off more easily.

Always check food temperature before feeding. Hot or carbonated liquids are not recommended. Due to the risk of

straw pieces installed. The sippy straw bottle will not function properly without it. The straw must be clean and free

by pulling hard and checking for cracks or wear. If any component becomes cracked, torn or shows other signs of
excessive wear, discontinue use immediately and discard worn or damaged parts. Always use with adult supervi-
sion and do not leave child unattended with the bottle. Do not allow a child to walk or run while using the bottle.
Do not leave the product in direct sunlight or heat, store in a dry environment. Straws are not suitable for a child
under 6 months.
CAUTIONS:
Remove the sippy straw bottle from your baby’s mouth when the baby is not feeding. Do not let a child
take a bottle to bed or self-feed for long periods. Prolonged contact with milk, formula, and other liquids can cause
tooth decay. Allowing your child to use this product for prolonged periods separate from regular mealtimes or to
go to sleep while drinking liquids, other than water, from this bottle may cause or contribute to early childhood
tooth decay.
