Operation
The VarioGard system comprises the following components:
VarioGard central unit
For power supply and control
of the VarioGard system by
the connected system bus.
Two-digit, illuminated
alphanumeric display of
measured values, status
messages, alarms, etc.
Three-coloured optical LED.
Acoustic alarm.
System operating keypad.
Remote acknowledgment terminal.
Five potential-free relay outputs that can be freely addressed.
To control connected components such as warning panels,
sirens, etc.
PC interface for start-up and maintenance.
VarioGard battery module
For emergency power supply
of the VarioGard system
during interruption of supply
voltage.
With 12 V lead storage
batteries and electronic
charger.
VarioGard 3x00 transmitter
For monitoring of the ambient
air, depending on the sensor
installed
Three-coloured optical LED.
Acoustic alarm.
Contact surfaces for operation
using a magnetic pen.
VarioGard Relay Module
Extension module for the
VarioGard gas warning
system.
With five potential-free relays
that can be freely addressed
by the central unit.
To control connected

With four digital inputs for
connecting pushbuttons, switches, etc. to the VarioGard system.
For installation in control cabinets; with an installation kit for wall-
mounting.
