TO CONFIGURE INDIVIDUAL PATIENT ALARM LIMIT SETTINGS
1.
Open the BedView page by selecting the viewport of the pa-
tient on the ICS Main screen.
2.
Select the
Alarms…
button in the menu bar of the patient’s
BedView page.
3.
Select the
Limits
tab.
4.
Select the corresponding button in the
Alarm
on/off column to
activate or deactivate alarm monitoring. When an alarm is
turned off the following symbol appears:

Select the corresponding button in the
Lower & Upper
col-
umns to adjust the lower & upper alarm limits.
6.
Select one of the following settings in the
Archive
column to
determine response to an alarm:
o
Off
: no event is stored and no recording is generated.
o
Store
: stores the event in the disclosure database.
o
Record
: generates a strip recording. Store/Rec: stores the
event in the disclosure database and generates a strip re-
cording.
7.
Repeat steps 4 through 6 for each parameter to be configured.
8.
Select the
Apply
button.
