Daily Checklist for the DR PRO-16 Battery Lawn Mower 

To help maintain your DR PRO-16 Battery Lawn Mower for optimum performance, we recommend you follow this checklist 
each time you use your Mower. 

[  ]  BATTERY:  Make sure the Battery has a full charge. 

[  ]  BLADE:  Check that the Blade for sharpness and damage. 

[  ]  MOWER:  Check the general condition of the Mower, e.g.; nuts, bolts, welds, etc. 

[  ]  CLEANING:  Check if there is any buildup of grass on the Mower and under the deck.  Clean as needed. 

End of Season and Storage 

 

When mower is to be stored, remove all grass, dirt, grease, leaves, etc. 

 

At the end of your mowing season, remove the Battery from the machine and follow the charging procedures as outlined in 
Chapter 4.  Once charging is complete, remove the Charger from the Battery and from your standard 110-Volt wall outlet.  
Store the Battery in a DRY environment with temperatures b5ºF (-15ºC) and +104ºF (+40ºC) unplugged from the 
Charger and separate from the Mower. Every one to two months thereafter and just prior to the first mowing of the season, 
you should completely charge the Battery again for optimal performance and life. 

 

Store the Mower in a dry environment.  Water will damage the Mower and Battery. 

 

Do not store the Battery close to a source of heat, sparks, or open flame. 

 

Always keep the Safety Key in a safe place away from children, separate of the Mower. 

 

Store the Battery away from children and animals. 

 

Store your mower indoors and cover it with a suitable protective cover to give protection from dust and dirt. Do not use 
plastic. Plastic cannot breathe which allows condensation to form and will cause some mower parts to rust.
