Site Dialer G3 Configuration for T/Mon SLIM, MINI, and
LNX

Most of the configuration for this application is done on the T/Mon SLIM, MINI, or LNX. The Site Dialer
G3 only requires that the hardware be setup and that the unit has an IP address.
In order for the Site Dialer G3 application to work, you'll need the following components:

T/Mon SLIM, MINI, or LNX
·
Site Dialer G3 software module for T/Mon
The following steps assume you already have the following configured in your T/Mon. For help, see the
T/Mon manual.

Pager Job
·
Ethernet Job
Step 1: Setup the Voice Pager Job

1. Log in to the Edit portion of T/Mon. Click Ports/Jobs, then Job Ports.
2. On the Job Ports screen, select a COM port above 47.
3. Under the Port Usage drop-down, select Voice Pager (This is the job that “talks” to the T/Mon).
4. Enter a description (optional) and click Create. You will see “<No Data Connection>” at the top
of the container.
5. Click Data Connection on the menu bar, then Tcp Ports at the bottom of the container.
6. Add a new data connection by clicking Add. Fill in the new line with the following information:
a. Type: TELNET-RAW
b. IP / Host Name: 127.0.0.1
c. TCP Port: 7502. (Port 7502 is configured in Exp_config.ini on LNX: "/exec/VoiceDialer/
VoiceDialer -p 7502". If no parameter, then port is set to 7502).
d. Description: Enter a description here, such as ‘Voice Pager’.
e. Save changes and return to the Job tab.
7. Select TELNET-RAW Port 7502 as Data Connection.
8. Click Save.
