Horizontal terminal through non-combustible material
Beginning from the unit assemble the concentric pipes, US 100/50-10 or USPP
10, one by one (1), following the path you previously laid out.
Then place a concentric elbow (2), USB 90 10, and the horizontal section if there
is one, and determine the place of the terminal.
Make a hole in the house wall in such a way that the air intake sleeve slopes to
the outside.
Angle: 1 to 3 degrees or inclination: 2 tot 5 %.
Determine the length of the terminal and shorten it if necessary.
Shortening the air intake sleeve (0,5 mm) can be done easily with metal shears.
Shortening the flue gas pipe (0,6 mm) can be done easily with a hacksaw.
Cutting with a disc is not recommended due to burning of the stainless steel.
Remove burrs and sawdust.
Insert the terminal (3), USDHCE 10, from the outside through the wall, with “TOP”
up, connect to the concentric bend and secure outside to the house wall (paying
attention to the slope to the outside of the air intake sleeve).
If desired the hole on the inside of the wall can be finished with a wall plate (4),
USMP 10.
