TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

PROBLEM

CAUSE

SOLUTION

The heat indicator light goes

on and off.

This is an automatic

thermostat light

The light will stay on until the

oven has reached the desired

emperature setting.

Stone or deep dish pan not

even or turning

Re align stone or deep dish

pan

Top of the pizza burns

Temperature of oven is too

high

When checking pizza, if you

think the top is cooking

quicker than the bottom,

turn the oven setting back

to minimum, leaving the

pizza to continue cooking

without the thermostat light

on. Alternatively you can

turn off the top element and

have the bottom cooking.

Bottom of pizza burns

Temperature of oven is too

high

Make sure the oven has

been pre-heated on setting

minimum. When the oven

light goes out, allow a

couple of minutes for the

stone to rest before adding

the pizza. When cooking

additional pizzas one after

the other, it is best to leave

the lid open for a few

minutes in between cooking

pizzas with the setting back

on minimum. Alternatively

you can turn the bottom

element off and leave the

top element cooking.

Dirty stone base

Moisture on bottom of

base

Don’t worry if the stone

marks. The greater the

marks the better the

flavor it gives the pizza.

Just scrape off any

excess material with the

paddles.

CAUTION

Pre-heating of deep-dish

- When heating, never turn control setting higher than minimum.

- NEVER clean the oven with water, only ever wipe down with a damp cloth.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

After each use, unplug your Perfecto Pizza and let the appliance cool. Remember

the stone and the deep-dish pan will hold heat longer, so allow them to cool for

longer. Be careful not to touch or try to clean your Perfecto Pizza until all parts
have cooled down to room temperature.

To clean the outside of the Perfecto Pizza, use a damp cloth. Never dip or
immerse your Perfecto Pizza into water or any other liquids. This could cause an
electric shock and/or damage to the oven.

To clean the stone NEVER use cooking oil or water or any detergents. Scrape off
any excess food with a spatula or a stiff bristled brush. Wipe clean with paper
towel or clean dishcloth.

To clean the deep-dish cooking pan, wash in warm water and mild dish washing

liquid. Never use abrasive or strong household cleaners as they will damage the
non-stick finish. Towel wipe dry.

Never use the stone for any other purpose than its intended use. Do not use
as a trivet, nor can it be used as a cuffing stone. Never put liquids on the stone
whether it’s hot or cold.

By following these simple points of care, your Perfecto Pizza will provide you

with many years of use.
