Fan
• The refrigerator is equipped with internal ventilation. For optimal air circulation
inside, it is important that the interior fan is always functional.
• To prevent warm outside air being sucked in unnecessarily when the door is open,
the fan switches off when the door is opened.
• The airflow to the fan must never be impeded. The ventilation slots must therefore
never be blocked or covered.
Interior equipment / Protecting the load
• In series the AC8500 is equipped with one interior wire shelf. Additional wire
shelves may be ordered separately. The maximum amount of wire shelves is limited
to 5 (1 small and 4 large shelves). Details to additional shelves can be found in
chapter “Accessories”.
• To avoid any shifting of cargo when driving, we recommend to secure any load by
means of expanders or similar equipment.
• When loading the refrigerator, respect minimum distances to allow a good air
circulation inside. Avoid any load directly near the evaporator.
Door lock
• The door of the refrigerator is equipped with a magnetic
door gasket. For transport purposes, the door must be
firmly locked with the locking lever.
• The door locking system is designed in such a way, that no
person can accidently be locked inside the refrigerator.
The door can be opened from inside by means of the
inside lever.
Inner lighting
• The refrigerator is provided with a powerful inside lighting (LED) which is switched
on as soon as the door is opened.
Defrosting
• When operating the refrigerator with a setpoint lower than 2°C, the appliance must
be defrosted regularly to avoid ice formation on the evaporator.
• Switch the unit off for approximately one hour and leave the door open during this
time.
• The defrost water is evacuated through the drainage tube into the vessel at the
outside of the refrigerator. This vessel needs to be emptied and cleaned regularly.
